All types of sports are favorite globally, but what sports can we call The most favorite in the world? Some of the answers may surprise you.

It's no surprise that football, or what Americans call "soccer" is the world's most favorite sport to play and to watch. An estimated 3.5 billion habitancy whether watch or play football. The World Cup is the global championship of the sport and this tournament is played every four years. The World Cup itself is one of the top rated sports on television, with many countries tuning in en masse to watch their country's team play. Football is favorite in all of the Uk, Europe, Asia as well as South America. However, with so many other sports being popular, the Unites States still lags behind in their interest in "soccer".

Next, we have cricket. This sport which consists of a bat and a ball, has been colse to for hundreds of years and originated in England. Coming up next is tennis. Not so surprising, but there are an estimated 1 billion players and watchers of tennis colse to the world. Tennis tends to be favorite in richer countries, including the United States, Asian countries, Australia and Europe. There are four main tournaments in tennis, called "Grand Slams" at which players from many countries play. The first is the Australian Open, then the French Open, Wimbledon and then the Us Open in late August. The Grand Slam tournaments tend to get the most attentiveness while the tennis season.

Next we have volleyball. Yet other surprise, with an estimated 900 million viewers or players colse to the world. Volleyball is favorite in the United States, where the sport originated, as well as in Brazil, all over Europe, Russia, China and Japan. Volleyball is a favorite high school sport in many countries due to it's team centered play and lack of specialized equipment requirements.

Of course, it's impossible not to mention legendary important actor Bruce Lee ('Fist of Fury') who tragically died shortly afterwards the filming.

Fired sports agent is struggling to keep his clients with the withhold of his ex-colleague - particular mom who's conspiratorially in love with him... Tom Cruise ('Knight and Day') and Renée Zellweger ('Bridget Jones's Diary') share a quite good chemistry in this Cameron Crowe's ('Almost Famous') comedy drama, but it's Cuba Gooding Jr. ('American Gangster'), playing football star, who delivers the most memorable line in the movie - 'Show me the money!'

New kid in town, being bullied at school, befriends a Japanese janitor, martial art master, who promises to teach him karate... Yes, I know there's a up-to-date remake of this movie, but primary take of this adolescent melodrama deservedly has a credit of a cult classic. Slim Ralph Macchio played the role of a high school teenager so convincingly, I was surprised to find out he was 23 at the time! Unforgettable line? 'Wax on...wax off. Wax on... Wax off.'

Lagaan: Once Upon A Time In India (2001.)
Central India in 1893. British officer, who has imposed high taxes (lagaan) on habitancy from the local villages offers a bet: if their community team beats a British team in a game of cricket, their taxes for 3 years will be cancelled... This epic musical, one of the most praised Bollywood movie worldwide, is a good composition of against-all-odds story, enjoyable soundtrack and charming performances by Aamir Khan ('Rang De Basanti') and Gracy Singh ('Loudspeaker').

Million Dollar Baby (2004.)
Aging boxing coach, troubled by his past, agrees to train amateur female boxer who's dreaming of becoming a professional... Hilary Swank ('Conviction') was initially shocked when legendary actor and director Clint Eastwood ('Gran Torino') offered her the important role in this controversial drama, but she justified his trust by excellent operation which brought her the Academy Award for the best actress!

Point Break (1991.)
On his undercover mission, Fbi agent infiltrates the surfing gang, trying to prove that surfers committed series of a bank robberies... Although movie plot sounds like a good material for a parody, it is as a matter of fact performance thriller, directed by Kathryn Bigelow ('The Hurt Locker'). The main attraction of 'Point Break', beside performance sequences, are two hot actors - Keanu Reeves ('Matrix' trilogy) and late Patrick Swayze ('Ghost'), here at the peak of his career.

The Wrestler (2008.)
Retired wrestler is trying to reconcile with his estranged daughter while inspecting the comeback that could kill him... Marvelous drama directed by Darren Aronofsky ('Requiem For a Dream') will touch your heart even if you don't care about wrestling. Due to a low-budget of the movie, Mickey Rourke ('Sin City') waived his fee, but nevertheless delivered the best operation of his career, playing a character that was very much like himself.

Girls of Sunday Sports

Women play a in fact big role in sports. When the women's rights movement came into effect, that's when women were allowed to partake in sports. In 1840-1901 was the starting of women in sports, and then it was only in very few events they participated in. Tennis was played by women in the 1880's which was more like batminton now. Even though tennis has been favorite with the women for so long it still did dinky to help the time to come of women's team sports.

It wasn't until 1972 when Title lX, The Educational Amendment Act, was passed that said: Federal money could not be given to public school programs that discriminated against gender. Schools then had to have equal teams for girls and boys. They had to have equal equipment, scholarship funds, and teams to get government funding. That's what has helped womens sports grow tremendously. Girls of Sunday Sports could comprise every woman these days, from church teams to expert sports. Women are very prosperous and talented in sports, Women are given drive, by the disbelief that we can not perform the same goals that men do.

Women in sports has had to overcome a lot of distinct things. Of course, we first had to prove that just because we give birth to children doesn't make us weak. Then men had this idea that if women played sports they couldn't get married and have children like general Americans. When women started bicycling there was permissible clothing they had to wear such as lose unrestrictive clothing. Overcoming all of those issues we have proceeded to move forward.

Contact sports like football, wrestling and boxing are still not as favorite as the rest. Golf was determined a good sport for women and back in the 1900's was only played in the front yards of the rich or at country clubs. Women who was the daughter or wife of a member could play at approximately every country club there were still a few that just had women's day. Archery was one of the first organized sports for women that they could play competing and could also have tournaments. Today the only major issues we have is which sport to play. Now colleges are giving scholarships for just about every women sport.

Girls of Sunday sports have a lot of reliance and a lot of sense of achievement. Just like everything else that we have to prove we can do, it empowers women to work harder. The time to come of women athletics are getting brighter each day! Women have earned a lot of respect due to the fact of motivation and the desire to supervene in every part of our daily lives, and to strive for bigger challenges. Girls of Sunday sports are legend and heroes to many.
